The Athikadavu Avinashi Project, a long-awaited initiative, diverts surplus water from the Bhavani River to replenish lakes and benefit farmland. It aims to support farmers and recharge groundwater across 9,902 hectares. The project's major scope includes the installation of over 1,000 kilometres of pipeline infrastructure and the construction of intermediate booster pumping stations. The entire system is operated using SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition).
