ECC has two tower manufacturing facilities at Pondicherry and Pithampur, with an installed capacity of 24,000 tpa and 30,000 tpa respectively. Both factories are equipped with CNC lines for fabrication of towers and microprocessor-based temperature controlled eco-friendly systems for galvanization of tower members. A 40,000 tpa rolling mill at Pondicherry, also ISO-certified, produces angles, providing backward integration. The rolling mill also produces sections and reinforcement bars for customers on request.

ECC has developed an excellent vendor base for sourcing of all line materials such as conductor, insulator, etc., for transmission lines of all ratings both in India and abroad. Utmost importance is given to quality and timely delivery while choosing vendors.

ECC has dedicated and experienced construction teams to take up project execution (up to 765kV rating) in any part of the globe. The successful commissioning of 400kV line in the toughest Himalayan terrain speaks volumes on the organisation’s vast resources and expertise in this field.
