This Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) was formed to design and construct a bypass road at Coimbatore. This project is the first road project executed on BOT basis in Tamil Nadu and was handled by L&T-TIL from concept to completion. The project scope included construction of a 28 km bypass road along with an additional two-lane bridge across river Noyyal at Athupalam. The concession period, including construction time, is 32 years for the bypass and 21 years for the Athupalam bridge. The commercial operations at the Athupalam bridge and the bypass commenced in December 1998 and January 2000 respectively.

Gujarat Toll Road Investment Company Limited (GTICL)
L&T constructed a 51 km four-lane toll road project (plus two service lanes on either side for almost the entire length) from Ahmedabad to Mehsana and the Kadi-Kalol spur road (11 km) through Gujarat Toll Road Investment Company Limited, an SPV promoted by Government of Gujarat and Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services (IL&FS) with L&T as a shareholder.

L&T is both the EPC and Operations & Maintenance Contractor in this project implemented on BOOT basis. Construction was completed well ahead of schedule and operation & maintenance commenced in February 2003.

GVK Jaipur-Kishangarh Expressway Limited (GVK-JKEL)
A six-lane expressway between Jaipur and Kishangarh on National Highway 8 (NH-8) was constructed through an SPV - GVK Jaipur-Kishangarh Expressway Ltd. The project involved construction of 90.4 KM of six-lane highway with flyovers and interchanges at major junctions and provision of state-of-the-art highway traffic management and toll system. This is the largest six-lane BOT road project implemented by NHAI in India.

L&T is part of the developer consortium for this project and was also the EPC contractor for a 40 km stretch and responsible for installation and commissioning of the Toll and HTMS for the entire stretch. The construction was completed ahead of schedule and commercial operations commenced in April 2005.

L&T Krishnagiri Thopurghat Toll Road Private Limited (L&T-KTTRPL)
This subsidiary company of L&T is executing upgradation of the 62-km long four-lane divided road from Krishnagiri to Thopurghat on NH-7 in Tamil Nadu on BOT basis.

This road corridor connects two major districts Krishnagiri and Dharmapuri. Project involves widening the existing road from Krishnagiri, which will bypass en route towns like Dharmapuri, Kaveripattanam and Periyampatti on its way to Salem. The scope also includes construction of an RoB, one major bridge across Ponnaiyar river and 11 minor bridges. This crucial link road is critical in the Salem-Bangalore section of NH-7 as widening of stretches on either side of the link has already been completed.

Comprehensive wayside amenities, rest areas, truck lay-bys, bus bays, etc. will be developed along the road as part of the project. A major traffic dispersal system by way of grade separated junction improvement will be installed at Krishnagiri where NH 46 meets NH 7. A toll plaza with state-of-the-art toll collection system for the benefit of the users will be located near the Thopurghat check post.

L&T-KTTRPL will design, engineer, fund, construct, operate and maintain the road stretch for the period of concession. The concession period is 20 years, including the construction period of 30 months. It will also operate and maintain the adjacent four lane sections already completed by NHAI.

L&T Western Andhra Tollways Private Limited (L&T-WATPL)
This SPV is executing the project for four-laning of the road from Jadcherla to Kothakota section of NH-7 in Andhra Pradesh on BOT basis.

Coming under the National Highways Development Programme of NHAI, this 56-km road stretch between Jadcherla and Kothakota forms an important link in the Hyderabad-Bangalore corridor.

The highway runs through the district of Mahbubnagar in Andhra Pradesh, and the scope of work includes four-laning of the project corridor, construction of five major bridges, one ROB, a bypass to Jadcherla Town, two flyovers and other wayside amenities.

L&T-WATPL will design, engineer, fund, construct, operate and maintain the road stretch for the period of concession which is 20 years, including the construction period of 30 months. It will also operate and maintain the adjacent four lane sections already completed by NHAI.

L&T Vadodara-Bharuch Tollway Limited (L&T–VBTL)
This SPV is executing the six-laning of NH 8 from Vadodara to Bharuch in Gujarat on BOT basis.

The 83.3-km stretch of NH 8 between Vadodara and Baruch is part of the Golden Quadrilateral and is an important link in the high-density corridor connecting Mumbai and Delhi. It passes through the districts of Anand, Vadodara, and Bharuch and traverses various urban centres with a number of road and rail crossings.

The scope covers widening of the existing four-lane road to six-lane divided road with amenities and support infrastructure.

Project also involves construction of 10 major and 36 minor bridges, 11 flyovers, 2 ROBs, pedestrian and cattle crossings at specified locations and other junction improvements, and 11 km of 8m service road on both sides at important sections.

L&T–VBTL will design, engineer, fund, construct, operate and maintain the road stretch for the period of concession which is 15 years, including the construction period of 30 months.

L&T Inter-state Road Corridor Limited (L&T-IRCL)
L&T-IRCL is executing the four-laning of the 76-km highway between Palanpur and Swaroopgunj on the East West Corridor (NH-14) on BOT (annuity) basis.

Forming an important link on the East-West Corridor, this highway project runs across the border districts of Gujarat and Rajasthan and is the main route for east-bound commercial traffic from Kandla and Mundra Ports. The Project involves widening of the existing two-lane corridor to four lanes, construction of six major bridges, twenty minor bridges, two ROBs, one flyover, fourteen underpasses, two toll plazas and other wayside amenities.

The project will be executed in 30 months. NHAI will pay the annuity as equated half-yearly instalments, for a period of 15 years. L&T-IRCL will design, engineer, finance, construct and maintain the above road stretches for a period of 17.5 years.
