| NICE is an SPV formed by L&T for design, construction, maintenance and operation of the second Narmada bridge at Zadeshwar on NH 8 in Gujarat. This project was undertaken on BOT basis. The scope of the project included the construction of a 1.4 km-long bridge adjacent to the first bridge, along with 4.6-km of approach roads. Commercial service began in November 2000. The concession will be for a period of 15 years, including the construction period.

Western India Tollbridge Limited (L&T-WITL) |
This SPV was formed by L&T to handle the construction of the two-lane bridge across river Watrak on NH 8, including the approach roads near village Kheda in the Ahmedabad-Vadodara section of NH 8 on BOT basis. The scope of this project included the construction of a 335-m long bridge and around 9.2 km of approach roads, and strengthening 10 km of the existing road. The project was completed in March 2001, well ahead of schedule.

Second Vivekananda Bridge Tollway Company Limited (SVBTC) is an SPV formed by PASGIC and L&T to finance, design, build, operate and maintain 6.1-ms long six-lane bridge on NH – 2 across river Hooghly, near Kolkata, in West Bengal on Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) basis. The scope of the Project included construction of 880-m long 31.1-m wide extradosed Cable stayed Bridge and six-lane approaches on both sides (Howrah: 3.67 km-long; Kolkata: 1.56 km-long) with ramps. The concession will be for a period of 30 years including the construction period.

Panipat Elevated Corridor Private Limited (L&T-PECPL) |
This SPV was formed to construct 3.4 km six lane elevated flyover on a 10 km stretch on NH 1 in Haryana on BOT basis.
The total length of the 6-lane elevated section is 3.4 km (3048m of viaduct and 360 m of ramps) covering central built-up Panipat section. The flyover also covers Gohana road, Sanuli road, Assandh road crossings, city bus stand and Skylark Tourist Complex. For use by the locals, a separate 2-lane peripheral road with paved shoulders is provided on either side of the access-controlled 6-lane highway. There are two underpasses and a bridge over the existing Gande Nalla. L&T-PECPL designed, engineered, financed, and constructed the elevated corridor well ahead of schedule.
L&T-PECPL operates and maintains the elevated flyover for a concession period of 20 years. |
