Resources and functional service units which are of strategic importance, but at the same time common to all Sectors, are clubbed together to leverage their services and capabilities. With this in view “Corporate Centre and Strategic Services” (C&S) has been formed. C&S will act as the interface between Business Sectors, Domestic Operations and International Operations and shall exploit the synergies available within the organisation, share ideas and network to implement corporate initiatives. It will play a major role in ‘capability building’, especially through workmen training and on the technology front in conjunction with Business Units and EDRC. C&S has a pivotal role in implementing new ideas and bringing in improvements in various business processes as required. It will also drive the Quality and ISO initiatives of ECC Division.
