Existing authentication of users for our portal (www.lntecc.com) login is being made more secure by incorporating additional checks by way of verification of Birth date and Secret question.

 

In addition to password, the above two question will be utilized to identify the correct staff, in case the password is forgotten.

 

As a onetime exercise, the following steps to be pursued to update our database.

 

§         Login in www.lntecc.com with your username & Password

§         System will prompt, to set Secret Question.

§         Enter your Current password.

§         Select you Secret Question & Enter Answer for the Question.

§         Click “Submit” to Save

 

In case the password is forgotten, you have to select “Forgot Password” in Login page.

 

1.       Enter your Login Username & PSNO /Vendor code. Secret Question already set by you will prompt you to answer along with your Birth Date. Enter the correct Date of birth & Answer the secret question. On successful completion, system will allow you to change your password instantly.

 

2.       If not able to answer to your secret Question, by clicking “Don’t Know”  button, an auto generated email will be sent in your registered email ID with a Secure Link. By clicking that link & submitting the username & PSNO/Vendor code, system will allow you to change your password instantly.

 

While choosing an Answer for the secret question we suggest to choose an answer memorable to you but hard for others to guess.
